Boy, they just got started! The Go-Go's were a No-Go on Saturday, In Atlantic City, NJ. After just appearing on GMA to promote their summer tour, they have cancelled some concert dates.
According to the band's official website, lead singer Belinda Carlisle was advised by doctors to go on immediate full vocal rest for three days.
The band was "deeply disappointed" that their June 4th performance at the House of Blues in Atlantic City and June 5th performance at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, CT had to be postponed.
They added, "We are grateful for our fans and their continued support and understanding."
Luckily, for fans, their tour will resume on June 7th at the Theater at Westbury in Westbury, NY.

The band’s debut album, Beauty and the Beat was released in 1981 featuring such iconic hits as We Got the Beat. They are currently on the Ladies Gone Wild Tour commemorating the 30th anniversary of the album. Current members include Belinda Carlisle, Jane Wiedlin, Charlotte Caffey, Kathy Valentine and Gina Schock.
During the brief interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts and Lara Spencer, band members acknowledged the cheering crowds, noting they have “a pretty strong following.” They also confirmed that the forthcoming tour is not a farewell tour, one member calling it the “ah, we don’t know the heck what we’re really doing tour….We’re staying together are far as we know.”
