It must suck for Halle to have this custody battle play out in the media. I posted yesterday morning that Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry were barely on speaking terms and that Aubry had filed for joint custody of their daughter Nahla. Now, Halle has quit her movie, "New Years Eve" (she was replaced by Katherine Heigl), to prepare for what seems to be the fight of her life (custody of her daughter). According to Movies.NDTV.com, when the pair split last April, after five years together, they had a arranged a split custody agreement (out of court). Halle's publicist has said,
" Halle has serious concerns for her daughter's well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time and is prepared to take all necessary steps to protect her."
Good luck to both parties. Hopefully they can work it out.
