JaMarcus Russell, Former Oakland Raider, In Foreclosure

JaMarcus Russell

This is sad to report but former Oakland Raider, JaMarcus Russell, is in danger of losing his $2.4 million Oakland, CA mansion.  TMZ reported that they have obtained documents that state that foreclosure proceedings have begun, due to the fact that JaMarcus is allegedly behind $195,512.05 on mortgage payments.

JaMarcus has about 3 months to come up with the payments.  If he fails to come up with the money, the house will go to auction.  JaMarcus, known widely as one of the biggest busts in NFL history, signed with the Raiders back in 2007, but was let go, sometime last year, after failure to preform.  When he signed with the Raiders, back in '07, it was one of the biggest NFL contracts to date, worth $60 million.  He is currently unemployed.  Hopefully (for his sake) he gets picked up by another team
