Phil Collins, 60 a musical genius and former Genesis drummer, will be retiring from the music industry. Pop Eater has reported that the multi-talented singer/songwriter/producer is leaving the business, due to health issues he has experienced for several years. Those issues include a dislocated vertabrae, nerve damage in his hands and hearing loss. All of these conditions make it painful for him to perform. Apologizing for his departure, Phil said,
"I'm sorry that it was all so successful," he stated. "I honestly didn't mean it to happen like that. It's hardly surprising that people grew to hate me."
He'll be greatly missed! We wish you good health and happiness Phil!
