Well, who knew? Beyonce, Mariah, Usher, 50 Cent and many more stars have all given personal concerts to Libyan dictator, Muammar Qaddafi, and have been paid very handsomely! According to Rolling Stone, Mariah was reportedly paid $1 million to sing for Quaddafi's son in 2008, 50 Cent performed for Quaddafi in 2005 and finally Usher and Beyonce, in 2009, for undisclosed sums of money (and you know what that means? It was a hell of a lot of money!).
Why would these stars perform for a dictator? PopEater reports that sources say that most of the time the artists really don't know who they are performing for, or for that matter, what is going on in each country and how a particular country is governed.
The artists are being pressured to donate their earnings to charity, What do you think?
