Bret Michaels was released from the hospital today. His surgery, to close the hole in his heart, was very successful. His surgeon, Dr. Mansour Assar, told Hollywood Life that, "Bret's procedure had excellent results," and that Brett should return to normal activity very soon. Bret's surgery took place in Phoenix, AZ at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Bret has a home in nearby Scottsdale, AZ.
