Steven Soderbergh Retiring From Filmmaking

Steven Soderbergh
Steven Soderbergh is leaving the film industry.  According to PerezHilton, the director is retiring after his next two film projects ( Liberace, starring Michael Douglas and The Man From U.N.C.L.E., starring George Clooney).
When asked why he's leaving the film industry, he simply stated,
"It's just time. When you reach the point where you're like if I have to get into a van to do another scout I'm just going to shoot myself, it's time to let somebody else who's still excited about getting in the van, get in the van.
For the last three years I've been turning down everything that comes my way. You're not gonna have Steven Soderbergh to kick around anymore."
The director, famous for films such as Ocean's Eleven and Erin Brockovich seems as though he's had enough.  Hopefully he'll find another profession where he can use his talents!
