Mel Gibson has finally been charged with misdemeanor battery, for allegedly assaulting former girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, after months of ongoing investigations by detectives. RadarOnline reported that the actor has plead "No Contest", thereby avoiding jail time.
Mel now gets three years probation, is required to attend domestic violence counseling for a year, pay a small fine and do 16 hours worth of community service (he said he would do it at one of Oksana's charities).
Well, I'd say he got a good deal! Hopefully he learns something from this experience, becomes a better rolemodel for his kids and hopefully, more tolerant of other people in the world.
