Barbara Streisand & Christina Aguilera Set To Perform At The Grammy Awards

Barbara Streisand

Christina Aguilera
Straight off of her Superbowl fiasco, Xtina is set to open The Grammy Awards, this Sunday, February 13th on CBS.  Well, at least she can redeem herself.  Supposedly, she did nail The National Anthem in all of her practice runs, so we'll give her a break and chalk it up to nerves!  OTRC has reported that Christina, along with Jennifer Hudson will be opening The Grammy Awards show, with a tribute to Aretha Franklin.  Three other, unnamed artists (rumored that one of the three may be Florence Welch, according to the BBC) will also join them on stage.  Now the surprise is that, "supposedly", The Queen of Soul herself, is suppose to join them on stage.  We'll have to see, especially since she is recovering from an "unknown" (on our part) illness.

Barbara Streisand is also set to perform.  The BBC reported that she will give a "rare performance", this Sunday, at the show.  Barbara is an eight-time Grammy Award winner and is nominated in the best traditional pop vocal album for her latest album 'Love is the Answer'.

The 53rd annual Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday, February 13, 2011 on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
